What happens now?

You will receive an email detailing your next steps – here’s what it includes:

**Login to your Stafftax Members Area and complete your Account Activation and Add your new employee’s details as soon as possible**

  • Until these actions have been completed we are unable to apply for a HMRC PAYE Scheme and then issue your first payslip(s).
  • HMRC can take up to 3 weeks to return a PAYE Scheme so in the event the scheme details are returned after your employee’s first payday you can calculate your employee’s pay via the Stafftax calculator.

Please remember, unless you are a plus customer, it is your responsibility to pay your employee on time and ensure your tax and national insurance is paid to HMRC.
